The average monthly fee of a private nursery in Portugal is between €350 and €400 (DECO Proteste, 2024). The Skoolist annual plan costs €390/year. A single new enrolment via Skoolist pays for the full year.
Where demand sits
Skoolist indexes nurseries and kindergartens across Portugal, including IPSS, private and public network. In urban municipalities such as Sintra, Almada, Cascais, Oeiras, Vila Nova de Gaia and Maia, there are hundreds of monthly searches for the "private nursery" category.
The public profile appears in searches even without being claimed. Claiming the profile has no cost and allows the institution to control address, services and contact. Subscribing to Pro adds a photo gallery, methodology description, real-time vacancy widget and structured information requests.
Return depends on the area and local competition. In areas with waitlists (central Lisbon, Cascais, central Porto) the effect differs from areas with chronic vacancies (parts of the interior, periphery).
What a qualified information request looks like
When a family contacts a Pro nursery via Skoolist, they fill in a short form. The institutional email receives a message with the following structure.

The nursery responds directly from its own email. No additional dashboard to learn, no other tool to manage.
The difference from a generic inquiry ("hello, asking about prices") is the time saved on initial qualification exchanges.

Pro plan for private nurseries
The first 30 institutions on the monthly plan pay €29 per month for 24 months.
Equivalent to €32.50 per month. Paid in full upfront, covers 12 months. Automatic renewal is announced 30 days in advance.
Full refund within the first 60 days if no information request is received during that period.
Also available as monthly plan: €39 per month, cancellable at any time.
