I'm Hélio. Skoolist started because when looking for a school for my own kids I realised the useful information — prices, schedules, curriculum, enrolment dates — was scattered across dozens of poorly maintained sites, or simply not online.

Instead of yet another directory, I built something that aggregates what exists in official sources, fills the gaps with direct input from schools, and presents everything in a comparable way. It now covers mainland Portugal, Madeira and Azores — over 10,600 schools indexed.

It's independent, free for families, and sustained by optional subscriptions and commercial partnerships. If you're reading this because you got an email from me, this is the person on the other side.
